A couple of months ago I was having the worst day at school (On that day I forgot my homework, my lunch at home, [I had no money to buy lunch either…] and my friend and I were having this horrible argument that made us completely ignore each other for weeks Dx). I was walking around during lunch time and found a place to sit down. It was really windy and it looked like it was going to rain soon. I found a bench, sat on it, and starting tearing up. I was hungry, alone and cold. I was hating on myself for everything that had happened and was irate that it even happened in the first place. A few minutes later, a guy who was walking saw me and shouted, “Hey there! What are you doing there sitting by yourself? You should cheer up and smile! It’s a beautiful day! Have a nice one!”. He smiled at me and continued to walk. After he left, I was grateful that anyone would even bother talking to a boring nobody like me. I was also confused why he said it was a beautiful day when it was obviously a cloudy day. A couple of minutes later, the sun appeared from behind the clouds and the winds stopped blowing. I thought that instead of being gloomy all day that if I smiled , I’d feel a bit better regardless of all the disastrous dilemmas I went through.
Don’t let anything get in your way no matter what it is. You only have one life and it’s the little things that make living worth…well living ｡◕‿-｡
If something totally ruins your mood, over power over it and continue on with your life.
